Two tracks of awesome, ripping, raw Black Metal. While most BM bands have that occasional "silence before the storm" parts here and there Hellgoat just go full berserk and don't ever stop. The blastbeat parts with high screams and deep grunts at the same time are absolutely terrifying.

I have a hard time articulating why I love this album so much. Maybe it's the way the synths add such an interesting layer floating above the raw and punchy sludge tinged riffs. Or maybe it's the varied vocal attack that keeps each song fluid and dynamic. Or perhaps it's the perfect pacing of each song and the album as a whole. But let's not forget the atmosphere which is absolutely sublime. I think what I'm trying to say is everything about this is amazing and you should buy it right now.
